"Brief report on the proceedings of handing over the MEMORANDA of retirees of BANKS in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to the Managing Director and CEO of Andhra Bank Sri KALRA  the PRESIDENT,  Local chapter of IBA on 15th instant at 5 P.M.
More than 300 Bank retirees from the States of AndhraPradesh and Telangana States assembled at the Head office of Andhra Bank, Saifabad, Hyderabad on 15thof this month  by 4 PM. They have all signed the memorandum  containing the demands made by AIBRF to the IBA. The entire area looked like a ocean brimming with people.
Leaders of ANDHRA PRADESH AND TENGALA STATE BANK RETIREES' FEDERATION (APBRF) affiliated to All India Bank Retirees' Federation (AIBRF) requested the members to silently walk to the entrance of the Bank (as it is working time for the Bank) without hindering the mobility of the vehicles and working employees of the Bank. The APBRF representatives under the leadership of President Sri Rajendra Prasad and General Secretary, Y V Subba Rao proceeded to meet the MD & CEO of Andhra Bank to hand over the memorandum.
As the President of local chapter of IBA was busy, he could not come down to take the memorandum but APBRF representatives could discuss the issues with him. The local President IBA suggested that he would send his General Manager, HRD down stairs to receive the memorandum on his behalf.
In the meanwhile the members peacefully proceeded to the Auditorium of the Bank on the Ground floor and the following representatives of Banks addressed them.
Sri V V Ramana                                                                  Andhra Bank
