LIC's dilly dallying

IS IT NECESSARY TO FILE A       CONTEMPT PETITION.
With the LIC again resorting to hide and seek game, many of our friends have started saying contempt of court.
May be, but is it worth it. We will be missing the woods for the timber as the process will drag on and may come in conflict with the main writ appeal hearing. Friends, after a detailed analysis of the strength of our case, I am of the opinion that the hearing of the appeal can be completed in just one hearing.
We have to concentrate only on the main points. Permit me to say that the merit of our case has not been argued in appeals, because of other interruption.
Please for heaven sake keep aside your anger and think of the final result only. We want a final judgement.
Hence I suggest that we make a prayer to the SC on opening of the court after vacation, pointing out that the LIC is dilly dallying to comply with the orders of the court and is bent on dragging on the case. The SC may therefore fix a date for final date for arguments and disposal.
If the SC chose, it may take necessary contempt. We may categorically say that we are interested only in disposal of the case, as any delay will result in only some more of our octogenarian pensioner friends not living to see the fruits of our labour.
I am making this appeal to all the case managers in the interest of the pensioners.
