Re: BLATANT CONTEMPT

Meeting of Retired Class I Federation Representatives with  MD & ED (P) It is reported by the General Secretary of the LIC Class I Federation that they could gather in  their meeting  that a final decision by LIC  on implementation of  the SC order will be taken very soon though the time frame for giving effect to the same was not spelt out. What do we make of it? The Supreme Court has clearly specified a time frame of 6 weeks for implementation of its order dated 7/5/2015 by LIC and LIC has reportedly  arrogated to itself the discretion to decide its own time frame at its convenience for complying with the SC Order without any semblance of move to seek the permission of the Apex Court to do so. If this is not blatant contempt of court, what is? Greetings. C H Mahadevan
