Sub: Interim Order of the SC
I just received an email from CO requiring us to furnish (1) names and addresses of affiliated Associations and (2) list of pensioners who had retired between 1 1 86 and 31 7 97 who were valid members of concerned Associations, on 3 7 2007 the date on which our Federation filed the Writ Petition in Delhi HC. with validity of membership as on the date of the SC order. It is learnt that a written communication dated 6 7 2015 has also been sent to us, and the same is awaited.
It is stated that the Corporation is unable to proceed for compliance of the order of the SC dated 7 5 2015 due to non-availability of required information. They have now called for individual data relating to each such pensioner under 13 heads of particulars, like name, SR No., date of retirement, basic pension etc.. We are examining their request and shall be communicating with members shortly.
It is a coincidence that the MD Mrs. Usha Sangwan whom we met earlier on 20th June is in Chennai today. We were able to meet her to represent for a broader view in settling our issues.
