Questions arising from information from Mr GNS
1. What happens to the members who joined after 3/7/2007(or is it 3rd January 2007?)?
2. What happens to members of the Associations which were affiliated after that date? (May be there are none. The Hyderabad Association was launched on 30/11/2008, but got itself disaffiliated in 2014.)
3. Presumably family pensioners of members who died before 7/5/2015 will be eligible to figure in the list. Also legal heirs of members who died after the death of their spouses will also be eligible.
Overall it is a happy situation for pre-August 1997 retiree Class I members, but the post-July 1997 retiree-members are left high and dry.
But it is another matter what quantum of interim relief will be paid by LIC.It is worth waiting and watching.
