DEAR FRIENDS,
Why
contempt of court petition can not be filed in Supreme Court against
defaulting banks in respect of 5 year weightage.Why should such banks be
let off unaccountable.Wherever we can take legal action we are not
taking and giving an impression that we are too weak to attack IBA on
its weaknesses.
In
respect of 1616-1684 points case also Supreme Court verdict has come
and AIBRF has written for extending the benefit to all similarly retired
pensioners between 1998-2002.But nothing has happened.How long we will
wait.Wherever petitions can be filed or I pleaded in Supreme Court,must
be done immediately.We have no faith in IBA.
In
the hope that UFBU will solve the issues we wasted 20 years
time.Another 20 years time may be wasted with the hope of getting
invited for talks by IBA by retiree associations.By that time most of
the present pensioners may not survive.
Govt
and IBA are very thick skinned .It took 40 years to accept OROP for ex
servicemen and that too after Supreme Court verdicts only.
Govts have always distorted priorities.
They are not interested in Rain water harvesting but go for Interlinking of rivers.
They
don't harness solar power but invite MNCs to set up nuclear power
plants which killed thousands of people elsewhere in the world.Japan
already stopped further nuclear power plants.
They don't stop factories from contaminating river waters but start projects of Clean Ganga.
They
give only a pittance to Indigenous systems of medicine but more than 75
percent of the grant goes to Allopathy only.Except for treatment in a
few emergency cases,allopathy is not so much effective.Allopathy
medicines spoil the inherent health and immunity of the Human beings and
a person who starts with one tablet for diabetes ends up swallowing
scores of tablets for BP,Heart problem,Arthritis etc.So many medicines
which were supposed to be best in Allopathy are banned after one or two
decades.What is the scientific basis for the system?Whereas in other
systems there is no such banning of drugs and no side effects as
well.But our Govts favour Allopathy.
Our
govts always imitate USA and Europe and never think of utilising
indigenous sources effectively.They are very liberal in spending waste
fully Billions of Rupees on distorted priorities but never think
positively about the issues of pensioners.
