BANK RETIREES NEWS: I appeal Supreme Court of India to take this as Public Interest Litigation - KLRao, International Member Amnesty International FW E>R> IYER

Manyaneey Nyayadheeshji, Namashkar. I would like to bring to your kind notice the suffering and the hardship of widows/ wives  of bank pensioners, in the country, who are in lakhs.15% of the pay is being paid as Family Pension in the case of Bank Pensioners, which is a meagre amount and it is very dificult for these ladies to survive in these days.It was revised to 30% to RBI Pensioners in 2007 and revising for Bank Pensioners was kept pending since 2007. Kindly note, Bank Pensioners Rules are based on RBI Pensioner's Rules.Bank Pension is supposed to be revised, whenever wages are revised, but it is not being followed since 1995, the year of starting Bank Pension Scheme.In case these two revisions are enforced, Widows / wives of Bank Pensioners can live without hardships.I earnestly request honorable Supreme Court to take my Appeal as Public Interest Litigation and give directions to the Ministry of Finance and IBA( Indian Banks Association ) suitably for the above two revisions and help lakhs of widows / wives of Bank pensioners live with dignity.I thank the Supreme  Court.
