CATHOLIC SYRIAN BANK RETIREES AGITATION AGAINST MISMANAGEMENT IN THE
BANK
Silent Mass Demonstration was held near Head Office of CSB ON TUESDAY
22nd SEPTEMBER 2015, Thrissur, from 9.30 to 11.00 AM on 22nd September,
2015 in protest against the mismanagement in the Bank.
Retirees of the Bank and our well wishers in large numbers participated
in the demonstration with mouths shut with black clothes to express our
strong protest against the heinous actions of the CSB Management to
silence us through court orders. Even very old senior members also
joined the action programme defying their ill health and age related
problems
Dear
Friends, we are determined to end the rampant corruption in the bank as
we know the mismanagement at the top level has made severe damage to
the strength and growth of our beloved Bank.
BEWILDERED CSB MANAGEMENT APPROACHES COURT TO STOP DHARNA
Dharna
was scheduled in front of the Head Office of the Bank today, from 9.30
onwards as part of our action programme to end the rampant corruption by
the top management in the Bank. Utterly perplexed over the mass support
received to the movement, they went to the court and obtained
injunction restraining us from holding dharna in front of the Head
Office of the Bank, on this day. Respecting the court order, we held
demonstration
at St.Mary’s College Road Junction, near to the Head Office of the
Bank, with our mouths shut in strong protest against the heinous actions
of the bank to silence us. It is to be mentioned that the management
has accepted all our contentions with regard to their atrocities in the
Bank, in the affidavit filed in the court. After the demonstration, all
the participants went in rally to M.O.Road, Thrissur and held
demonstration in front of the M.O.Road branch of the Bank.
The
demonstrations held on 15th and 22nd September 2015 are only the
beginning of our fight against the vested interests in the Board of the
Bank and their accomplices. We will be further intensifying our actions
if management is not changing their attitude and reversing the decisions
detrimental to the interest of the Bank. We are getting great support
from within the Bank and the organisations of the serving staff and
retirees of all the banks in the state. We are fully confident of our
ultimate victory.
