CHECK YOUR INCOME TAX REFUND STATUS BY ITR ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Good news for persons who have applied for Income Tax refund by filing of Income Tax return , now you can check status of Income Tax Refund with click of mouse by providing your Income Tax return acknowledgement number .The process is simple Just provide your Income Tax return acknowledgement number and click submit on next screen you will get the status of your Income Tax refund if it has been issued to you .

Refunds are being sent in following two modes:

• RTGS / NECS: To enable credit of refund directly to the bank account, Taxpayer's Bank A/c (at least 10 digits), IFSC code of bank branch is mandatory.
• Paper Cheque: Bank Account No, Correct address is mandatory.

Any Taxpayers can view refund status 10 days after their refund has been sent by the Assessing Officer to the Refund Banker
