Today in Supreme Court

"TODAY IN SUPREME COURT

Our cases did not reach. When the Bench was about to rise, all the Counsels (Mr Nidhesh Gupta was not seen in the Court today) approached the Judges. Mr Savla emphatically reported that LIC did not comply with the 7 Sept Order. Delhi Advocate also aired his complaint on similar lines.  Judge looked at LIC Counsel and said, he is here, to Mr Savla's submissions. As expected, LIC Advocate said they objected to our offer in Chandigah etc.,  RK Singh unceremoniously intervened out shouting everybody and did not allow Savla's direct reference to Upgradation  issue got subdued.

By then Judge was looking at the diary mentioned sympathetically, your matter is at 105, it would have been heard, but don't worry we will post it on top next Wednesday (30 Sept).

If unfortunately, we are bogged down within our internal oneupmanship fights, we lose our case or at least the full benefit, in spite of the Bench being clearly favorable to us.

More later
