In 2014, my Mum, having seen the things I’d made, requested that I
recreate the Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh for her. It was
intimidating at first, as that is one of my favourite artists and one of
my favourite paintings. But I started slowly, gathering my materials,
mapping out what I was going to include, and carefully drawing the
painting onto the fabric. Over the next month, I spent roughly 60 hours
lovingly recreating the painting bit by bit, and trying to include as
much detail as possible.
