Re: Chandigarh Meeting on 18th, October, 2015.

Dear Colleagues,
The efforts of the organizers of the above meet are praise worthy. Around 125 colleagues participated despite their advanced ages, painful journey and personal discomforts. It is every body's guess that Sri. Asthana too must have undergone all the above ordeals. It is nice that he has responded to the wish of the colleagues and apprised them of our court cases held all these years and also about the final stage at SC, which is to resume arguments from 18th,November. It is reported that the meeting was useful, meaningful and more of informative. Since satisfied with the outcome of the specially convened meeting by the Pensioner Forum, colleagues have not only borne their share of the meeting expenses, but also shown the gesture of contributing liberally towards legal fund.
A few may be interested in calling our own members as " Bhajanmandalis, Coterie or some such fanciful names. It is also said that the participants attended the above meeting with certain clear cut condition, etc. It is their prerogative  and is enough if they are satisfied with their own above statements . There is also a grouse that the details of the deliberations of the said meeting were not divulged. We could very well guess that the same must be what we are already known of them thoroughly through e-mail and popular website messages. Members could as well gather such information, if interested and anxious, from the trusted corners. Would it be wise attributing motives to certain individuals ? Let us shed spreading ill-feelings among ourselves.
Wishing you all good-luck !
Fraternally Yours,
M.P.Subrahmanian, RIEA, Madurai.
