Respected Sri. Aggarwalji, Cheers !
Your detailed reporting about the conduct of the Specially Convened
Meeting of the Pensioners' Forum at Chandigarh on 18th instant is
superb. It is encouraging to note that elderly pensioners, family
pensioners and in-service employees, emerging from different parts of
Tri-City, touching a gathering of about 125, attended the historic meet
to know of our legal history straight from the horse-mouth. It appears
that the full force of the current contained in the stored reservoir has
damaged the hitherto preserved and well-built concrete dam and got the
water gushed out freely without any more hurdles. It teaches a lesson to
a few organizations too. The interest of the enrolled members should be
foremost than the dry motto of safeguarding the survival of the
organisation for the name sake. The impending hearing on 18th Nov might
expose such organizations and members would naturally bid good-bye to
them and start choosing the real one which is fighting for their welfare
only.
The
participants deserve cheers. They not only paid the levy charged for the
meeting expenses, but also greeted the leader with liberal donations
towards legal fund. Members of other units of AIRIEF ,who go through
this narration, should try to be either equal or even excel in such
events.
The cooperation extended by Pensioners' Voice & AIRIEF Website through their timely publications deserve due patting.
Thanking you,
M.P.Subrahmanian, RIEA, Madurai.
