: Gate meeting at NCOB Mumbai on 5th Nov.

Friends,
On 5th  Nov. '15 a massive gate meeting was held by the Bank's Forum during the Lunch time. Retirees from the Bank participated in large number to Cheer up the incumbents across the board as their agitation of current phase would culminate in mass casual leave on 19th Nov. 2015. Although there was very hot temperature in the city, retirees made it  to reach the meeting place from the far flung places of Mumbai to meet their obligations towards this great movement. The movement  to protect the great edifice of RBI,the movement to settle over due Charter of Demands and to resolve pension issues pending for a decade causing grave injustice to retirees. The meeting was addressed by leaders of all four organisations and also by the undersigned at the call of the Forum. All leaders articulated their pent up feelings against bureaucrats of Ministry of Finance and Govt of India and also the Bank management for delaying the settlements of Charter of Demands in the Bank. They also shown their determination to go on indefinite strike in case no issues are resolved. On behalf of RBREA, Mumbai, the undersigned gave best wishes to the Forum for their agitation against clipping the wings of RBI and settlement of their Charter of Demands. The undersigned also thanked the Forum for fighting the issues of updation & for one more pension option for the last nine years. There is no parallel elsewhere to the Forum's act to support  the retirees

The undersigned also placed before the audience that Ministry of Finance  acting ultra-virus to the Article 14 of the constitution of India and also not in consonance with Supreme Court verdicts since Nakara case of 1983 to the recent case of Rajasthan Govt. employees. The undersigned quoted examples of great fights of Shivaji Maharaj and Rana Pratap  and follow them as example in our great fight against injustice meted out to us.
We thanked all retirees to attend the gate meeting in large number and request to be in readiness for any call from the Association
.
We have attached a few photos of the gate meeting for your information please.
