Today, some newspapers have carried a news about the wage-revision in LIC. This news, among other news, contained information about the proposal of 5 days' week.
It was stated in this news that only 2nd & 4th Saturdays will be off. You may remember that management has offered all Saturdays off.
The above news has given rise to confusion as usual. We wish to state that, as per our information this news(of only 2nd & 4th Saturdays off) is NOT TRUE.
In our discussions with the management on 16th October 2015, the management had assured us to discuss any major changes(e.g. timings after 5 days' week is introduced).
As per our information, the file is still in Finance Ministry waiting for approval. As informed earlier, after the approval, it will go to Legal dept & then to Rajbhasha dept before it is finally notified.
We are making all efforts to speed up the process.
We once again appeal to you to believe only such news which come from authentic sources like NOINO.
