To All the Members,
Re: Second meeting
with the Chief (Per) today
To follow up the matter
regarding amendments to Pension Rules & anomaly regarding computation of
pension, Shri. Dilip Mapara, Secretary, NOIP met shri.Prakashchandji, Chief
(Per) in CO Mumbai, today & discussed the matters in detail with the 3
cases of anomaly duly calculated. Regarding this anomaly the Chief promised
that he would look into this aspect and go through the calculations of live
examples.
Regarding granting
of pension to those who have resigned in view of SC Verdict in respect of
Mr.Amin vs LICI, he flatly refused to accede to our demand. He also told
candidly that LIC would not consider granting pension to all those similarly
placed.
He however said that
they would look into the issues raised by us for including in the proposed
amendments to Pension Rules, which are likely to be sent shortly for
notification pursuant to wage revision.
NOIP would pursue
these issues till the aspired amendments are included in the Pension rules.
With greetings,
Yours
faithfully,
(General Secretary)
