We do not have the accessories and dedicated agencies seen after the accidents...so need to adhere to the self-discipline of non-usage ....of mobiles while driving or riding a bike.
Hang Up!=============
WARNING: The videos at the bottom are very graphic! You might not call it inspirational but it might save your life.
There is much talk concerning cell phones and the accidents that they cause. Some states have banned cell phone use without a headset and made texting while driving illegal.
Cell phone use while driving can indeed be distracting and dangerous, but I didn't realize the full truth until I read a report on the actual stats of cell phone use while driving.
1. Roughly one in four car crashes involves cell phone use. 2. Texting increases your chances of an accident 23 times. 3. In one study, cell phone users were actually more dangerous than drunk drivers: 4. The greatest danger are to those in their late teens and 20s.
So what does this mean?
It means keep your eyes on the road and off of your phone. As usual, real danger is often in different places than it's hyped up to be and things we don't fear often do the most damage.
Forward this to all people in their teens and 20s and tell them to: 1. Watch the four videos below. 2. Don't text or talk on the phone while driving. 3. Don't drink and drive. 4. Don't get in the car with anyone who has been drinking.
These videos are very graphic but a crash is very graphic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0LCmStIw9E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQB5Bl_2GKI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m58hGFUbICE DWI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16u2OoAXZUY
