A Nursery Rhyme which all of us who studied at Nursery Classes if one was admitted to such school - for perhaps none of the retirees must have enrolled. The Indian Banks Association was very adamant to accede to the demands of the bank retirees while a "Joint Note" was got signed in this regard on the culmination of the talks on wage revision to in service employees. But, the General Secretary of both AIBOC and AIBEA wrote to IBA to reconsider their stance and bowed down to the dictates of the Deputy Labour Commissioner (Central), Mumbai when he summoned the Executives of IBA and the Representatives of AIBOC for a conciliatory Meeting where the Representatives of IBA agreed to to resolve the demands/issues within 3 months. Hail AIBOC!!! The Most adamant IBA has now relented to the ever growing unity, co-ordination, co-operation of all the Retirees Organizations that resulted bowing do the needful and
resolve the demands o retirees within three months.

The DHARNA call for Dec 11th at JANTAR MANTAR, NEW DELHI, was a THUMPING
SUCCESS. We will be circulating the detailed report once we receive the same from Conveners of CBPRO. Meantime we share with you some highlights and photographs.This show of strength and unity was unique, unparalled and historic. All retirees of all cadres and affiliations joined together at the junction of Sansad Marg and Jantar Mantar , right opposite SBI office and close by BOB and RBI. The demo Started at 10. 00 am and by 11.30 the gathering swelled to over 3000 + as could be guesstimated. Vibrant slogans raising our primary demands of 100% DA, updation of pension and family pension, pension option for resignees,etc., rented the air reaching the Finance Ministry offices close by. Strength and unity was unique, unparalleled and
historic. All retirees of all cadres and affiliations joined together at the junction of Sansad

The gathering was addressed by our illustrious leaders viz., Com. Ramesh Babu
( General Secretary SBI Pensioners' Federation), Com. P. N. Banerjee (President , SBI
Pensioners' Federation), Sri Sukumaran, President, RBONC), C0m. Guptha, (VP, AIBRF), Com. S. R. Sengupta ( General Secretary AIBPRC),Com. Shantaraju, Com. Jindani, Com. Harvinder Singh (General Secretary of AIBOC), Sri.TAPAN SEN, MP and CITU General Secretary and Com. Pawan Kumar, General Secretory, BMS vociferously acknowledged our just demands and assured their full support for our movement and their wholehearted assistance for needful action from the power centres. Representative from AIBEA also spoke. Com. Anantha Krishna,former leader of AIBOC, also narrated his efforts in reaching our demands to Sri Jayant Sinha, Ministry of State for Finance, along with the Sri Bandaru Dattathreya, Central Labour Minister, explaining the same and getting an assurance for needful action soon. Sri Harvinder Singh pledged full support of AIBOC and assured to carry forward the dialogue with IBA to its logical end early.
Al the leaders explained at length, the justification for all our demands as supported by
various judgements , and precedents and condemned the unfavourable stand taken by
IBA.
"WELL BEGUN IS HALF DONE", so goes the adage. Let this demonstration and public awakening spread far and wide throughout the country and instantly in all major centres
so that SUCCESS will be ours SOON. Sure we are retired but not tired. But we will
actually retire only when all our just demands are fulfilled and relish the same in our bonus
years.
We place on record the active involvement of all our affiliates in the above programme.Sri
Sukumaran and Ramesha from SBM ( President and Treasurer RBONC respectively and
of ABROA), Sri D. K. Nadiger and Subhash Ahuja from BOB.,Sri N. Jamdagny from PNB
along with their respective members participated in large numbers. Our thankful
acknowledgements to all of them for the same braving the cold belying their age.

We congratulate and thank to Sri KV Acharya, Convener, for fine compering and excellent
arrangements.
In continuation of the agitational programme a Demonstration is scheduled to be held all
over the country and in Bangalore it will be held on 17-12-2015 Thursday between
11.00 AM and 1.00 PM in front of Town Hall just in front of Head Office of CANARA
BANK in J. C. Road. All retirees are requested to participate in this historic event and
make the programme massive and record breaking with huge gathering.
