GIST OF TALKS WITH CHIEF PERSONNEL 26 dec 2015

Dear friends,

1)Today I had a talk with Chief Per.I outlined the gravity of the devastating floods, the stupendous loss all sections of society sufferred,the insuperbable obstacles still being faced by all,LIC employees/pensioners so badly affected as water levels inundation was even 5/6 feet,noone knew what should be done,one can understand the physical, mental, financial loss etc

I then reverted to only few issues

2)i)I thanked him for sending the Data of Pensioners, but I told him I have to go thro & compare & see if all are ok, CZ always delaying figures, & further, few lacuna or errors even on ,at a glance reading the figures

ii)I told him that for more than 4 months, I am following up with his good self over phone & in writing too & all pensioners shall be glad to get his OK for 12 months deduction of mediclaim premium from Pension

He assured lot of progress has taken place, a more conducive atmosphere has been created after many rounds of talks with COOS

He confirmed that sooner a final note will go to Chairman & after his decision, seeing in totality, the scheme may come into being

I pleaded that as it is already being done for employees, no last minute hitch shd develop & CO must take a humane & empatheic positive decision, which will be hailed by entire pensioner community

iii)I told him that we need confirmation whether ALL Zones & CO employees/pesnsioners have received TPA Ecards as it is delayed too long & an important piece of document for Cashless service

He said he will verify & recert later

iv)I told him ,it looks CO has completely forgotten Pensioners, as we are the ONLY community WITHOUT a PORTAL.After 45 months of valuable 4 page suggestions by us & fup, if External Agency is not producing results & final outcome still not known, it is pathetic LIC loses control without dictating terms to them

I added that this is the only way by which mobility, knowing one another, meeting pensioners, even same locality we dont know who all are there,should not CO act much faster & Pensioners Portal with all requisite data, & groupwise figures, touch of button, every pensioner can use username & his password & start a new chapter.That is being denied

It was clear no progress has been made.I have to pursue at other IT end too.

v)Lastly, I enquired about Staff Wage Notification ,& whether that can come in Fortnight

He said confidently,why within a week, that shd come
