OPEN LETTER TO ALL MEMBERS OF AIRIEF

Dear Colleagues,

                         We are flooded with ever so many communications about the attempts made by our sister organizations, through their choicest methods, to somehow convince the LIC Management and pave the way for instant settlement of our pending major twin demands, well ahead of 20th January,2016 and earn the sole credit of it over the decade long strenuous efforts of our  Federation, which happens to be  the main cause for the initiation and bringing out the issues, legally, to this far current final stage. Every one is aware to what extent our leaders have exerted themselves right from the day one in convincing our Board Members to pass an unanimous, favourable and  historical  ' Resolution ', after prolonged hours-long efforts and in winning legally in all the judicial systems right from the lower forums up to the present stage at the Apex Court. Days are not far off to hear the sweet news of our overwhelming victory in all the counts, we are fighting for.
      

                         We could very well understand the human nature that any body would try to join together in any effort at the final stage near the winning post and pose that success was possible only because of their exclusive, prudent and timely man-oeuvre. Poor strategy, indeed. They do not know the proverb that they can not deceive all their members for all the time to come.  

                         We can not but appreciate the common interest of some personalities in some quarters and our leaders give due importance to their views and even addressed them at times seeking certain clarifications. Neither Sri. Asthana nor Sri. R.B.Kishore ever shown any disrespect or stood on false prestige towards those selected few core-gentlemen.

                          

                         We are about to face the last stage of arguments at the Apex Court on and from 20th january,2016. We should all admit that our Federation has spent a lot towards legal process all these 15 years and this was possible only because of our modest contributions for some time towards legal fund. Some organizations under AIRIEF have contributed liberally and some enthusiastic members have forwarded individually cheques for sizable amounts apart from their routine payments through their organizations. Now we are at the peak of our fight. The proceedings at the Supreme Court may prolong for some more days. Our continued efforts should not suffer for want of funds. Let us try to augment our legal fund position through liberal contributions from now on. We could even engage additional legal support from experts at this needed hour. Even otherwise, no organization could function effectively without the support base of members and fund reserve. Kindly keep in touch with your respective Divisional Units constantly and get informed of the latest developments then and there. Our official ' AIRIEF Website ' is there by your side giving wide range of information affecting our day to day pensioner life. Try to inculcate the regular habit of referring to the same. We must appreciate the efforts of Sri. R.B.Kishoreji in shaping this website a popular one serving the interest of pensioner brethren. Members could ventilate their experience and considered opinions on any subject through this website.

                        So, Colleagues, be united under the banner of AIRIEF.
