Dear Mr Sahni,
As
per my personal email dated 22 Jan to you, I promised to give the
factual background of what we mentioned in the Court and what was
granted. I was pre-occupied with my wife's hospitalization and could not
revert as promised. Sorry. Here is what happened:
The
Final Hearing of our Appeals has not been happening, for what ever
reasons, good bad and indifferent. Recent indications are that it may
take more time.
Hyderabad Association decided that we should wrest some control of the matters in the interests of ALL LIC Pensioners.
Our
IA No 5 of 2014 in CA No 9223 of 2013 has been there on board since Aug
2014. It was heard in Chamber on 10 Sept 2015 and posted along with the
main Cases.
We
on 22 Jan requested that our IA may be heard early, on 29th Jan. We
gave our reasons. Our request for early hearing was accepted by the
Bench. It is the existing IA only. But we also sought and obtained
permission to file an Additional Affidavit. It was filed with Notice to
the concerned parties on the other side.
I will circulate a copy of the 33 page Additional Affidavit in due course.
We expect stiff opposition from LIC and may be from others. We are fully prepared. Rest on 29th.
Hope this puts things in proper perspective.
Thanks and regards,
