1/8/2012 & after Retirees Arrears as per Wage Settlement

 Dear friends,

1)It is s sad commentary that those who retired wef 1/8/2012 & later are still to get arrears from LIC Offices.While LIC was able to settle in a record time of 2 days wage arrears for ALL employees,it would have been nice, if same empathy would have been shown to such retirees who formed part of 1/8/2012 --31.12 2015 wage settlement period.

2)I, therefore pursued the matter with Chief Per few minutes before

He understood the problem immediately

He observed there was some expectation from OS Dept & IT Dept.They are in touch with one another

Officials from CO have rushed to Hyderabad, where such IT Module is being prepared ,tested & released.That wing is part of LIC CO only & constant dialogue exists amongst them

He also felt sorry at the delay.

He confirmed energetic steps are being taken, many enquiries have poured in

He assured me every step is taken to realise the urgency of the situation as already considerable delay is there

3)Incidentally, when I asked him whether all  about Employees arrears are over, he confessed that some problem or hitch is there which is being resolved immediately

When I   enquired ,whether it is about IT problem of spreadover during various AYs ,he said ,Not that, some other lacuna, which will be settled without any delay

4)Ultimately I thanked him but mentioned that CO should have worked out the Strategy earlier, anticipating queries from such retirees & further, all these would have been tackled on EARLIER wage settlement periods too

I pleaded ther shd be no more delay & if at all,OTHER retirement Benefits many eligible & due to them could be settled without waiting eternally

I added there must be now a quality Pension calculation ,accurate one, without ERROR so that afterwards no PROBLEM should emerge

Everything & fup is in his worthy hands, I concluded

I thanked him profusely for addressing the issue & trying his best to resolve them
