1)Here are very useful Annexures 1,2 & 3 detailing the SALIENT FEATURES of LIC's e-Services.As per IRDA Guidelines, insurers were required to provide Repository services either thro a tie-up or thro its own Portal.LIC has done it thro LIC's own portal, LIC's e-Services
2)Page 1 gives details of Basic Sevices thro this portal ,at no cost to the policyholder
It also contains Premier Services outlined.
Registration on portal is mandatory The detailed Regn & Authentication process is given in this Page 1 & next Page 2
ii)Login using portal User id,enrol ur Policies for e-Services.
Form, Printing & signing, Uploading the scanned image PLUS
iii)Upload scanned image of of any one of KYC documents :PAN Card, Aadhaar Card,Passport
iv)Auto-generated SMS& Email will be sent to Policyholder after upload is found successful
v)Transaction will be sent to the Customer Zone of the Division to which the Servicing Branch of the 1st policy is attached
vi)After regn, verification of signature & identity of PH will be done.
3) i)Same will be done by C-zee Officials for existing PHs.
ii)Necessary Guidelines to C-Zee officials about process are enclosed on Annexure 1 ,our Attachment & Page 3
iii)Few more services will be added on the e-platform in due course

5)Please secure Yogakshema HM February 2016,
Request ur Branch or Division to supply you xerox copies of Pages 7,8 & 9 of CO HM
2 /2016 OR you get it done to go thro in detail & preserve the copy intact for translating it into actual practice & benefit Have copies of these 3 Attachments
Virtually many benefits will flow from this advanced modernisation & computerisation, where LIC is second to none & ,even outwitted Private Life insce companies.Hats off to LIC.Service at doorsteps now will become service by PH himself at his doorstep
6)Banks have thrust one by one many many services on Customers,yet we have to get a token, wait in queue to get other jobs done.ATMs do many services.Internet banking & slowly craze & appeal for Mobile Banking,may be fraught with danger ,& to be done very cautiously.Many do not know that ALL banks now have teller machines for direct insertion of cheques for credit to our/appropriate Account with proper details keyed in.So too, instead of waiting in the queue, insert Currency notes one by one ,keying to which account the amount is to be credited & Preserve that Data Slip & job is done.Verify when Statement comes, or when SMS, EMail arrives.Standing instrns can be given to Banks at which frequency u want to get Statements & that comes on dot automatically.
6)LIC must conduct a mini-training session for employees, that they will do, but ALSO for pensioners ,to familiarise this valuable concept & make it operational,through Self Learning step by step procedures outlined for easy understanding
7)I thought it fit to mention few Salient & Crucial points here, so that reading becomes easier of the 3 Attachments
