SERVICE CONDITIONS AND PENSIONERY BENEFITS TO OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES -FROM FACE BOOK FW ERI BOI

The wages and service conditions were fixed on the basis of employer's whims and fancies and then the Unions were formed, agitated and finally the two Award Shastri ,Desai awards came in to Being.Definitely.IN last more than 60 years two Awards came into existence as a service condition and wages for officers and workmen called AWARD STAFF ie.clerks and subordinate Staff.
Miles and miles journey came for a bipartite settlement in 1966 Between management and Majority union and thus this bipartism became a soul purpose of making agreement for any betterment plus conduct rules for award staff. For officers there were no bipartism and thus in 1979 A Committee called PIllai committee came in to existence.
In 1969 Banks were Nationalised without merger with same guide lines for bussiness for all banks and State Bank of India.
Bipartism taken place for both officers and workmen and seperate
Negotiations were being taken place and now Bipartite for Award staff reached to 10th,stage.
in 1997 the total 9 unions five of workmen and 4 for officers made a united forum of bank union and started bipartism in this manner.
In 1993 the unions wanted pensionary benfits as it was available to SB.I. employees and officers ,and was finalised and notification issued vide Central Govt.Gazzate on 23rd.september 1995
but since then no pensions were revised although bipartite settle ment for award staff and wage revision took place in 1997,1999,2004 and 2010 and 10th,Bipartite and wage revision for officers are going under the negotiations table.
The Pension updation issue were raised by U.F.B.U. many time but never achieved except in 2010 second option was given.
On 23rd. Feb.2015 the I.B.A. a body of Govt. agreed to with U.F.B.U. for a hike in wages to 15% and approx RS.5000 Crores were offered as of 1st.Nov.2012 against the same charter of demand under which includes the PENSION UPDATION as A MAJOR DEMAND.
Now A valid point is that Retirees have no representative so they are on the Lower ground floor Used for PARKING OF vehicles.
Please look and see on day to day basis of negotiations of officers and workmen, my specs does not see the issue of Pension up dation,
Then what to do?
what to do ?
WHAT TO DO?
OLD MEMORIES OF LAST YEAR
Regards, E.R.Iyer
