We
have taken up the Chairman touching the relevant aspects of the Hon SC
order dated 31/3/2016. The important part of it is in the attachment for
your perusal.
We
do hope you had received our exhaustive circular dated 8th instant on
the above verdict of the SC, We have sought an appointment with the
Management, when we will impress on, among other things, their moral
responsibility to implement the Board Resolution dated 24/11/2001 in
true spirit of it without diluting its intent and purpose. We will also
take steps to impress upon authorities to take up similar kind of
exercise as IBA is doing with the Government presently on various
pensioners' issues.
We
are in touch with our Counsels on further course of action.
Importantly, the Office-bearers and the legal committee members of the
Federation are scheduled to deliberate in a day long meeting on 2nd May 2016 at Chennai, and decide on the same.
