WhatsApp to soon get 'Call Back' and 2 more features

NEW DELHI: WhatsApp will soon be rolling out a host of new features for iOS and Android users, as per a new report.

According to the report that appeared in Phone Radar, WhatsApp will soon be getting a 'Call Back' feature, enabling users to call back their friends with a just a tap of a button without even opening the app. The button will be placed in the notification pane, alongside the WhatsApp call notification.

In addition, the WhatsApp is also expected to bring voice mail feature for iOS users. It will let users record voice mails and send them to their contacts. The report further suggests that the voice mail feature will automatically show up when the user is already busy on a WhatsApp call

And that's not all. The report also claims that WhatsApp will be adding support for sharing zip files, thus making exchanging large files easier. It is also claimed that WhatsApp might be testing the new features under its beta programme.

It's worth noting that WhatsApp recently added end-to-end encryption to all of its messages. Encryption ensures that messages can only be read by their intended recipients.
