OBs & Legal Committee Meeting,AIRIEF

Dear friends,

1)Myself & Mr Angurajan,AIOS, AIRIEF returned from Delhi meet of AIRIEF OBs/Legal Committee only at 1.15am past midnight

2)It was a wonderful meeting,It was very productive& utilitarian.

  Informal meeting on 1st May evening itself elicited many useful suggestions,correct interpretation of the Hon SC Bench judgement,in depth & with clarity.Action plan ,in pursuance of Hon SC Order dt 31/3/2016 was on sound lines, indicating how to complete ,incomplete pleadings & where stress was not given or constitutional provisions for strengthening achievemet of pension upgradation with every wage revision was also discussed threadbare.So too  DR anamaoly between pre-8/1997 & post-8/1997 pensioners was highlighted with outright discrimination practised by LIC in violating Fundamental Rights Articles 14,16,& 21 of Constitution

3)Marathon meeting of all OBs/LC members of AIRIEF saw wide participation & each member showing inclination to resolve final way out , to fulfil SC Bench orders ,with full professional compliance ,of all points raised by SC Order.Many dealt with additional case laws in support of those points, where Hon Dipak Misra sounded detailed submissions were required in respect of 2/3 points.  President Sri SSSaxena conducted the meeting  with aplomb & distinction,with his sound legal background..GS ,AIRIEF Sri GKrishnaswamy, as usual, was active,buoyant & summed up proceedings of every session    

4)Many responded to the call of GS, AIRIEF & my detailed email to all groups of pensioners to honour our polite,genuine request for Legal Fund donations to fulfil aspirations of each & every pensioner & to promote AIRIEF name  & to see Flag of AIRIEF flies high during the 20th year completion by end of this year 5 December, 2016, as also LIC completing 60 splendid golden years on 1/9/2016 as a Platinum Jubilee year celebration

4)Meeting was arranged by Delhi Sri DDGupta with liaison  between GS, AIRIEF & camaraderie & intensive,extensive involvement were noticed at all levels,lifting the value of democratic functioning & all views respected ,only for promotion of the ultimate cause,securing Twin benefits ,
