retired employees category for mediclaim policy 2016-17

                        Reg:- Renewal of Group Mediclaim Floater Policy for the year 2016-2017 

Dear Sir, 

Please visit the circular No. CO/Per/ER-A/124/2016 Point No. 3 ‘Mediclaim Coverage’ to decide the category in accordance with the existing available Salary Group of employees. 

No reference has been made in regard to the retired employees category. We have been informed by the retirees that it creates confusion to decide the category of retired employees. 

Please refer the circular CO/Per/ER-A/CL-22 dt. 28/03/2014 in this regard wherein it has been clarified that Retired employees category applicable to them will be the same as was applicable as on their date of retirement. 

We request you to kindly get the instruction issued afresh toward off the confusion.
