GI PENSIONERS ISSUES

Friends,

In regard to legitimate demands of Insurance pensioners, S​.C/Delhi H.C. may soon decide the fate of ongoing litigation very ably represented by LIC pensioners. 

GI pensioners are hopeful that eventually, they may also reap the benefits due to identical terms of service usually enjoyed by both sectors. 

Of course there are exceptions some times as we have seen in matter of 1993-94 payment of gratuity difference which was denied to GI retirees on flimsy grounds although S.C. award went in favour of LIC friends ! 

As  such we have no finality till Orders are issued in our favour as expected. There are also few undecided issues apart from current litigation  which remains to be resolved.
With this in mind, I felt that there is need to take some fresh initiatives. I had received regular feedbacks from friendly sources. 

With further research, case studies and available material, I compiled  petition to S. C. with issues which require legal directions. This followed few other submissions. For details, please see all attachments sent with this mail.

So far I have not released these papers for any purpose to anybody. Now time has reached to place it in public domain.

I wish to express my sincere tha​nks and appreciation for plenty of legal and other material over the years received from very energetic, resourceful and untiring activist on this front Shri R B Kishore, E.D. ( Retd. ) LIC, which has immensely helped me for this important voluntary activity.
