Respected LICian, On 1st September, LIC will complete 60 years of its glorious and eventful existence. It is understood that LIC will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee in a grand way. We do not know if LIC will make room for the pensioners / retired employees participation in the celebration. But we can not afford to be only passive onlookers of the celebration. LIC is our pride possession. Every pensioner / retired employee has contributed to every brick of LIC's empire of success. Because of the contribution of the past and present employees LIC has acquired the gigantic stage by way of providing with their hard work, determination and missionary zeal reaching to the hearts of the people of our India in each and every corner. It is decided that our Association will celebrate this great occasion on 7thSeptember'16 (Wednesday) and will pledge to remain with LIC in its journey to ever increasing growth in geometric progression. The celebration will be held at usual place of our regular Wednesday meet from 3 pm to 5 pm. All members of the Association and retired employees of LIC are cordially invited to join the celebration of Diamond Jubilee. Many of us may not have the opportunity to participate in the Platinum Jubilee celebration.
