We have to reinvent ourselves

No Organisation can be helped or harmed more than its own.

Being captain he assured that he would be listening to the unions and their suggestions will be looked into.

With this , he ended his speech. Contrary to the expectations, no mention of the burning pending issues of 5 days week & pension option found place in his speech.

*RESPONSE OF NOINO*

On behalf of NOINO, *Dattaraj Prabhukhanolkar*, GS, responded:-

1. He congratulated both Chairman & Shri Hemant Bhargava in their first session after taking charge as Chairman & MD respectively.

*2. He strongly protested the lack of mention of the issues of 5 days week & pension option & demanded that a tripartite meeting of the Govt officials, management and union representatives should be organised immediately to clear the air & also for the sake of transparency.* He demanded that all the promises made in the wage revision meeting on 16.10.2015 be fulfilled immediately.

3. He also demanded that the Information sharing session should be of 2 days & in Yogakshem building.

4. He stated that massive recruitment was the only solution to the pressing problems & not TMP. We opposed unilateral imposition of TMP & linking of biometrics to attendance.

5. He urged the management to focus on non-single premium (renewal premium) to retain our market share & not to adopt short-cuts.

6. He also demanded transparency on the part of the management & stated that management should discuss with the unions before taking policy decisions on important issues concerning the employees.

7. We also demanded to consider our suggestions to take follow up with Govt for removal of service tax & exclusive rebate of income tax on Life Insurance premium.

8. We pointed out that the wage revision was due on 1.8.2017 & demanded immediate negotiations.

Finally, we once again brought to the notice of the management about the wide spread resentment among the employees on the issues of 5 days' week & pension option & stated that if these issues were not settled immediately, the unions would be resorting to peaceful & democratic means of *intensified agitation*

*The joint front partners will meet shortly to decide on the line of action especially in the wake of the damp squib(with regards to 5 days week and pension option issues).*
