Dear friends/fellow Pensioners..

Our case in DHC is in hibernate (even in hot summer). We are all very patiently waiting for the Judgement to be expected to deliver before 31-03-2017. In the meantime a very  unusual thing of,

getting a rejoinder or in other words getting a very suitable reply to the WS of Hyderabad Cl 1 Officer's federation from the LIC/UOI by Our judge himself and it is said that it is not an  usual practice. All these unusual things &  the very uncommon calm atmosphere because for the last few days nobody have had talks about the court's, LIC/UOI activities, no gossip even from any quarter. I am feeling a dull calm prevailing every where like a storm before calm. Every body knows that judgement delayed means judgement denied. But people's are advice us  be optimistic, but things are all happening otherwise, how can we optimistic?

Recently I have posted  about the matter of FULL pension on completion of 20 years. Even I have very optimistic and hoped much  that we will get it soon. But very unfortunately news have come in that the corporation is not in a mood to reduce the service of 33 years for full pension. 20 years matter not at all going to be considered in LIC. But our organising Secretary em pathetically said this one is our main  demand and we can do it across the table. Why not being done it across the table now itself ,

what is the matter preventing them?. If not now then when?

If he has so confidence that it can be done by across the table, he has to do that now so that our pensioners get arrears and they can very happily part sufficient amount as donation or legal fund.

The union can  also some what tie over from the financial crunch. This matter is not needed to go to court and can be dealt with across the table so we can easily achieve and also get sufficient funds for our pension updation case at SC.

But by showing a  carrot before horse how long going to work?. I left it to your judgement.

My fear is no bound if any body can help in solving it I will be very grateful to them.

Recently one of our pensioner,  retired as HGA Steno ( reached maximum in his scale 10 years before his retirement) died one year after Sathabhisekam. He has no issues and wife alone. All his retirement  benefits, very paltry then, all gone on  medical treatment  etc., Now living in a rented house in Pitchandarkoil.

His wife now is getting only 9000 as family pension, please think about her livelihood. This desperate happening appeared in Facebook.

Once we were all proud to say as a employee of LIC. All other Govt.  employees even from Nationalised Bank have envy on seeing us.. Then for each and every thing they compare LIC as a model employer. Now the Chairman and Managing Director alone are the employee of the Corporation others are all Cooli

daily wage earners without any benefit.
