I am a former Rtn of the Rotary club of Madras and a Journalist by profession .I am also connected with a lot of social causes and have used my training in Storytelling to highlight problems like Elder abuse and Gender violence
.I wanted to share details of a project I worked on a couple of months ago which I thought might be of interest to you
Elder abuse as you know too well is a painful reality of our times and takes numerous forms. I recently collaborated on a third Storytelling video project with Prajnya an NGO ( founded by Swarna Rajagopalan Writer , Political Analyst and Consultant ) who annually run a 16 Day Campaign against Gender violence among their other initiatives. This story “When Avarice meets Age” is based on research and case histories collected from an Old age home .The video was released on Youtube last week .The link is provided below
