WELLDONE KL RAO GARU
BUT AS USUAL NO USE & I AM SURE YOU ARE IMPLEMENTING NEXT STEPS OF WRITING/MEETING TO/ FM & THEN TO/ PM.BUT......... (see below)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Subject: Amnesty Member KLRao appealed Finance Secretary to revise Family Pension for Bank EmployeesAmnesty International Member, Sri KLRao, made an Appeal, in support of Bank Staff / Bank Retired Employees , to revise Family Pension at par with RBI Employees, as RBI revised Family Pension from 15% to 30% in 2013. State and Central Government Employees have Family Pension of 30%, since long time. Keeping Family Pension un revised , for Bank Employees, in these days of Sky Rocketing prices, is great injustice , especially to one lac ladies, drawing Family Pension, who are struggling to survive. More over Pension and Family Pension are paid from the Dividend on Pension Funds in all the Banks, which are more than adequate. There have been several anomalies in Payment of Pension, Family Pension and Terminal Benefits to Retired Bank Employees. Mr Rao suggested the Union Government to set right this anomaly first , as it is related to Women Welfare. Mrs Maneka Gandhi, Minister for Women and Child Development forwarded Mr Rao's Appeal to the Secretary, Finance Ministry, with her Recommendation.Mr Rao is hopeful, that Government will comply with his reasonable Appeal and announce the Revision shortly.Kindly Publish this Piece of information in your esteemed Columns, for information of Public and Bank Employees.Thanks.
