FAQ ON MERGER OF ASSOCIATED BANKS WITH SBI

Personal Banking FAQs
(I) Associate Bank Net Banking Users
1. I am a customer and net banking user of erstwhile SBH/SBP/SBM/SBT/SBBJ. In view of merger of my Bank with SBI, shall I need to register afresh or can I login with the net banking username and password provided to me earlier?
There is no need to register afresh for availing net banking services of SBI i.e. the merged bank. You can login with the same username and login password for logging into Online SBI.
2. After merger of my erstwhile associate bank with SBI, what will be the URL or website address for availing net banking services?
The website address after merger of your bank (SBH/SBP/SBM/SBT/SBBJ) with State Bank of India will be https://www.onlinesbi.com.
3. Can I avail the same net banking facilities of my erstwhile associate bank (SBBJ/SBP/SBT/SBS/SBM) after merger with SBI?
The net banking features of Associate Banks are almost similar to State Bank of India. After merger, you will be able to use all the facilities as it is.
4. Do I need to register my mobile number afresh again in OnlineSBI after merger of my erstwhile associate bank with SBI?
There is no need to register your mobile number afresh after merger of your bank with SBI.
5. Whether the third party beneficiaries (Interbank/Intrabank/International/IMPS) added by me in my net banking account previously, will be available in OnlineSBI after merger of my erstwhile associate bank with SBI?
Yes, the third party beneficiaries added and approved by you earlier will be available.
6. After merger, am I required to register my email ID in OnlineSBI afresh for availing e-Statement facility?
It is not required to register your email ID afresh in OnlineSBI.
7. I have registered many billers in my net banking account prior to merger. Whether it is required to register the same billers again in OnlineSBI after merger?
The same billers already registered by you will be available in OnlineSBI even after merger of your bank with SBI.
8. I have set standing instructions/scheduled bill payments in my net banking account prior to merger. What will happen to those standing instructions?
Even after merger of your erstwhile associate bank with SBI, the standing instructions set earlier by you, will be executed on the due dates. There is no need to cancel those standing instructions.
9. My erstwhile associate bank has been merged with SBI and now I am unable to access OnlineSBI with the old username and login password?
Username and Password are case sensitive. If still you are unable to login, please lodge a complaint in CMS.
10. What are the changes in service charges for AB’s customers after Merger?
Yes, there is a change in NEFT/ RTGS charges. Service charges as applicable for SBI customers will be applicable for customers of Associate Banks, after data level merger.
11. Will there be any interbank charges for fund transfer between Associate Banks and SBI through IMPS?
No. After merger, no transaction charges will be applicable as these transactions are intra-bank transactions i.e. within SBI.
12. I want to add existing SBI account as third party as beneficiary.
For the time being, You have to add the existing SBI account as beneficiary under GRPT/NEFT/RTGS category till the date of data merger which will be notified in due course. If you add the exiting SBI account as GRPT beneficiary, no funds transfer charges will be recovered.
13. I want to add my friend’s bank account in erstwhile AB also having my account, as third party.
Yes, you can do it under “Within my own Bank” link.
14. I want to make funds transfer to existing SBI or other ABs account.
Use GRPT option which will be available upto the date of data level merger of first Associate Bank, no charges will be recovered for using this option.
15. Can I go for resetting of passwords (login/profile) with any SBI branch?
After data level merger, you will be able to do so. Till such time your branches of erstwhile associate bank will serve you.
16. Can I open Fixed deposit / RD accounts offered by my erstwhile Bank?
Yes. For the time being, you will be able to use the FD/RD products of your erstwhile associate bank. After data level merger, FD/RD products as applicable for State Bank of India will be available for opening using net banking.
17. Which bank I need to select while making merchant payment like ticket booking, e-commerce etc?
You need to choose your erstwhile bank name till further notice.
18. Can I use the “New PPF account application” link for opening a PPF account with any SBI branch?
After few days i.e. after data level merger, you will be able to do so. Till such time your erstwhile associate bank branches can serve you.
(II) SBI Net Banking Users
1. In my net banking account, I have added few third party beneficiaries holding account in associate banks of SBI? After merger, do I need to add those beneficiaries afresh under Intrabank Beneficiary category or no action is required at my end?
After merger of Associate Banks with SBI, the beneficiaries added by you under State Bank Group Transfer will continue to be available in the system and no action is required by you. The GRPT charges will be waived from the date of Report Level Merger.
 

Corporate Internet Banking FAQs : Report Level Merger

We are Corporate Customer of erstwhile SBH (SBT, SBM, SBP, SBBJ etc.). We understand that these Banks are being merged with SBI. Can we use the Corporate Internet Banking facility after merger? If so, how do we log in?
Kindly note that after the merger of SBH etc., those Bank’s websites will be disabled from 01st of April, 2017. But your internet banking facility will continue. You can directly log in to onlinesbi.com with your existing credentials of SBH (or SBT, SBM, SBP, SBBJ etc.). There is no change in the way you would log in to your existing SBH account

We are corporate customers of erstwhile SBH. All these years we were logging in to our Bank's website onlinesbh.com. Now we are getting re-directed to onlinesbi.com site. Is this site genuine? Hope there no is risk in logging in to that site
Since SBH has been merged with SBI, the former's website has been disabled with the merger. So you are getting re-directed to SBI site. It is absolutely safe to log in with your existing erstwhile OnlineSBH credentials

We are having a Corporate Account with SBT (SBM, SBH etc.). As a Regulator role in the Corporate, will this merger bring any change in my activities as creating profiles, setting limits, managing users etc.
There will not be any change and all of your Regulator related activities will work the same way
4.
We are Corporate Customer of erstwhile SBH. As a Regulator, I have created some users. The Mobile Number approval form and PP Kit request form shows branding of SBI and also I am being prompted to visit my home branch for submission of the form. Can the home branch of the account approve it?
Please submit all your forms to your respective home branch (of erstwhile SBH etc.) for further processing. Because of merger of Associate Banks the branding in the form is changed to SBI.

As a Regulator will I be able to get the same Reports in the same format post merger
Yes however the branding of the Reports will be of State Bank of India
6.
We are State Bank of India Corporate Internet Banking customer and we need to transfer funds to accounts in erstwhile SBP. Now since banks are merged, will these beneficiaries be treated as same bank beneficiaries or as other Bank beneficiaries?
For the time being, please continue to treat such beneficiaries as other bank beneficiaries.

We understand that Associate banks of SBI are merged with SBI. Will this change the IFSC codes
For the time being, the IFS Codes will be the same. However, the IFSC codes of all SBI Associate Banks are likely to change from Q2 of FY 2017-18 (from July 2017 onwards)

We have our Corporate account with erstwhile SBH (SBBJ, SBT etc.) and have issued Prepaid Cards to our employees. Will these cards work after the merger or will we be issued new cards
Yes, the same cards will continue to work and can also be topped up online
9.
We are a Corporate Net Banking customer under SBI. Since the Associate banks are merged, can we request for the Demand Drafts (DD) to be issued on any branch of SBBJ.
No. Till further notice, please make online requests for draft issuance on branches of your home Bank only (In this case SBI).

We use the Supplier Payment module to make payments to our Suppliers. Will there be any change in the process after SBI merger
No. The merger will not bring any change in the way you are using Supplier payment module.
11.
We have created a new Rule. Will it be approved by the same branch that was doing it earlier
Yes. It will be approved by the same branch that was approving earlier.
12.
Will there be any change in the Tax Payment we are doing till now using erstwhile SBT (SBM, SBBJ etc.)
After completing the formalities in the tax site, when you are asked to select the Bank for online payment, please select erstwhile SBT (SBM, SBBJ, SBP, SBH) etc. SBT Site will be re-directed to SBI Site where you have to key-in your existing User ID/ Password to complete the transaction.

We use SFTP for file upload. Will there be any change in the process after merger
No, there will be no change in this
14.
Will the merger bring any change to the remitters who are using erstwhile SBT's (SBH, SBP etc.) State Bank Collect facility to pay our fees
When your remitters will click on the SB Collect link in home page for payment, they will get a page dropdown list of Associate Banks. He / She will need to select "erstwhile SBT (SBH, SBP etc." in the dropdown & then he / she will get re-directed to the payment page as before.
Merchant Transactions Related FAQs
1. Which bank to select as the payment option in case of merchant payment?
Associate bank customers are advised to select their parent parent/erstwhile Associate Bank.
2. What if the associate bank customer selects SBI wrongly in case of merchant payment ?
This will result in failure of selected merchant transaction and you will have to reinitiate the transaction as system will not allow the customer to proceed further. Hence customers of Associate banks are requested to select their respective parent/erstwhile Associate bank till further instruction.
3. Which option to select in Merchant MOPS page in case of merchant payment ?
Associate bank customers are requested to select their parent/erstwhile Associate bank.
4. What if the customer selects State Bank of India in the MOPS page and proceeds further.
This will result in failure of selected merchant transaction and you will have to reinitiate the transaction as system will not allow the customer to proceed further. Hence customers of Associate banks are requested to select their respective parent/erstwhile bank till further instruction.
5. What are the charges to be levied in case of merchant transactions ?
Existing charges as per their respective associate banks, pertaining to merchant transactions shall apply.
6. To whom to contact in case of any disputes in case of merchant transactions ?
In case of any dispute, associate bank customers are requested to raise the concern with their parent bank/erstwhile associate bank.
