span of 26 months since its birth. Nurturing it almost single handed,
with a stray addition from readers, you deserve all appreciation and
recognition.
It
is not that much easy to run a website in the midst of similar websites
and blogs meant for pensioner-communities. You have taken the ' Sankalp
' to run the show colourfully with a determination. A little more
efforts by all our Divl.Units to create the awareness of our web among
majority of our members, would go a long way in surpassing the present
hits of other sister-webs and blogs. The contents of our web should be
popularized among our members continuously, without any let up. Once
they enjoyed the taste of reading our web three, four times daily, they
would stick on to this practice of acquiring knowledge over minute-war
developments around us. Court cases are part of those happenings. There
are ever-so-many subjects discussed pertaining to pensioners.
Majority of us do not have net facilities. This vacuum could be
cleared by spreading the messages then and there orally or through
printouts by members who are blessed with net facilities to those who,
unfortunately, do not have. In Madurai RIEA, such messages are conveyed
to the participants in almost all the executive and general body
meetings. You are aware that executive and general body meetings are
convened once in two and three months respectively. Divl.Units could
plan their strategies and work according to their wish and convenience.
We salute your strenuous efforts in bringing our web more popular and a
living document with the sole aim of catering to the needs of LIC
pensioners in all avenues. Coming days will certainly satisfy your long
wish.
