Demise of Shri MS MURTY.
The
sad news that MS MURTY has passed away today leaving thousands of LIC
PENSIONERS in deep sea of grief has come as a rude shock for me.
His
premature passing away has resulted into great loss to the community of
LIC pensioners. During the last few years his fight for the cause of
LIC pensioners put him in the front line of leadership.
On
22nd March'2017, he visited Kolkata to meet some of his old
colleagues.In the afternoon, he visited our Association room where the
members of LIC Retired Class-I Officers' Association meet every
Wednesday. During his visit, he interacted with our members expressing
his expectation of victory in Delhi HC though the verdict was otherwise
later.
He was requested, in one voice, to join the
Federation of Retired LIC Class-I Officers' Associations along with Sri
CH Mahadevan and the entire Hyderabad association of Class-I Officers to
strengthen the Federation and its leadership.
I pay my deep respect in memory of late Murty and convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family..
