Dear All
We
all know that total six petitioners were involved in current legal
battle at DHC and all of them are not left with any other option except
to stay as petitioners at Supreme Court also
The
whole scenario about our current legal battle underwent sea change with
entry of AIRIEF , AIIPA and Hyderabad as new players at DHC in 2016
Now
out of six players , three namely AIIPA , AIRIEF and GNS Federation
happen to be all India Organisations and remaining three Hyderbad Association , Panchkula Association andJaipur Petitioners fall under local players category.
The
show of Hyderbad Association being one of six petitioners at DHC was
being run primarily by one man army late Sh Sreenivasa Murty with his
24×7 involvement besides total finances required for legal battle
being arranged by him from his personal resources
Chandigarh Petitioners could not afford services of a senior counsel at DHC and hence remained as a symbolic player
And so called architect of our legal battle Sh K M L Asthana also remained totally absent during arguments stage at DHC
Now much water has flown out of Ganges
DHC Legal battle was lost on April 27
Sh Sreenivasa Murty also left Hyderabad Association as well as all his other friends for his heavenly abode on July 8
Five out of six petitioners at DHC have already filed their SLPs at Supreme Court
Four SLPs already clubbed together and likely to be listed on 13th October
Fifth SLP on behalf of Jaipur High Court Petitioners likely to be taken up on 3rd October
And
6th SLP on behalf of Chandigarh High Court Petitioners likely to be
filed at Supreme Court by Panchkula Association on 3rd October
And
million dollar question relevent once again during 2nd round at Supreme
Court is that while three All India Organisations namely AIIPA , AIRIEF
and GNS Federation have financial capability to engage services of
Senior Counsel at Supreme Court but remaining three local players namely
Hyderabad Association ,Panchkula Association and Sh KML Asthana at
Jaipur do not have required finances for engaging services of senior
counsel
And more so when AIRIEF itself is involved in legal
battle round two so there is no possibility of AIRIEF extending any
financial support to either Panchkula or Jaipur.
Under this scenario , will so called three local players function as just symbolic petitioners at Supreme Court ?
The answer about Panchkula Association is Yes
What about remaining two means Hyderabad and Jaipur ?
Any clue ?
Regards
B R Mehta
