Friends,
As expected a stereotype reply has been received, to which I have given the feed back as asked for.

Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances
16 Nov 2017Details:In this connection, we have to inform you that the above mentioned matter was contested by some of the Retired Employee's / Officer's Associations in the High court of Delhi. The Hon'ble High Court of Delhi has not accepted the contentions of the Associations and accordingly order dated 27.04.2017 in the W.P.(C) 184/2007 and Eight connected petitions was issued. In your grievance, you have brought out similar points which have already been contested in the High Court of Delhi. Now, Special Leave Petitions have been filed in the matter by some of the Pensioner's Associations / Unions and the matter is again sub-judice, hence resolution of grievance is beyond administrative control of LIC.

My submission to Hon'ble PM was not for the above stereotype reply of LIC.
What I had suggested to Hon. PM was to save GOI/LIC and the petitioners ie. LIC pensioners from the long drawn legal battle by ordering LIC to pay revised basic pension also to all the pensioners as and when there is or there had been wage revision, as is being done in the case of Central & State Government employees/ or by amending LIC Pension Rules through Parliament, to include revision of pension also on every wage revision of existing employees retrospectively.
I expect a proper reply from the Central Government, as the ball lies in their court and Hon.PM can advise the Finance Minister to initiate required actionin this regardagg irrespective of the fact that a number of SLPs are lying pending in the Supreme Court. Once the Government takes a favourable decision the litigation will automatically become infructuous. Submitted for reconsideration.
H K Aggarwal.
