Subject: All glory goes to our reputed mentor Sri. R.B.Kishoreji
Dear colleagues,
" Plan your work with utmost care and work your plan judiciously "
is the sole motto of model trainer, Sri. R.B.Kishoreji. I have heard
his powerful speech twice at Madurai in the beginning stage of our Madurai Unit of AIRIEF and I have been regularly going through his messages to individual members, activists, OBs of Divisional, Zonal and members of All India Legal Committee through e-mails. They bring out his spirit of service to fellow-brethren and his devotion in carrying out his responsibilities and obligations thrown by himself upon his shoulders. I need not emphasis on these as it is a well known fact to the regular readers.
Yet another opportunity came to me to personally witness his
physical and deep involvement in fulfilling certain decisions taken by
AIRIEF. As per the programme, the Memorandum, addressed to the
Chairman, LIC, was to be submitted to HODs of Divisional Office and
Zonal Office at Chennai on 5th December, 2017 for onward transmission to Central Office with their due favourable comments. As instructed, I too joined the elite team of Chennai delegates, under the leadership of Sri. R.B.Kishore, who were entrusted with the above task. It was accidental and God's gift.
I was amazed to find his leadership qualities and was very much impressed by his stupendous way of presenting our grievances under various heads of subjects ( such as, anomalies on fixation of Basic Pension, 100% DR, discrimination to Class-I employees retired between
01-08-1992 and 31-03-1993, hardships in reimbursement of hospital expenses under medi-claim, some other data connected with 40% IR and Minimum Pension as observed by Delhi HC, etc., etc. ) and by the way he came with relevant authentic details. He must have spent a lot of hours for this ground work. It was a pacca demonstration to me as to
how an office-bearer should conduct himself to convince the
authorities to achieve the desired results. One has to be sincere in
his efforts to emulate him. His only ambition is that every one should
be comfortable after retirement.
I was much benefited to be present on the occasion and I was doubly pleased to meet my old colleague, Sri. R.Kannan, the present Treasurer of Chennai Divisional Unit of AIRIEF.
Thanks to the all round efforts of Sri. R.B.Kishoreji.
With regards,
M.P.Subrahmanian.
