Effect of Gazette notification dated 26.03.2018

I have been receiving some phone calls enquiring whether there will be any effect on our case in the SC.

The effect of the Gazette Notification dated 26/3/2018 is

1.     that' Managing Director' omitted in the  first row has been correctly inserted.

2.     Appointing Authority for cadres of Zonal Manager and above and equivalent cadres is  Executive Committee in the place of 'Corporation'

3.     Appointing Authority for cadres of Deputy Zonal Manager/Senior Divisional Manager, Divisional Manager (newly inserted), and equivalent cadres, is  Chairman in the place of 'Executive Committee'.

4.     Appointing Authority for cadres of Assistant Divisional Manager, Senior Branch Manager and equivalent cadres is  Managing Director in the place of 'Chairman'.

5.     Appointing Authority for cadres of Branch Manager/ Administrative Officer is Executive Director(Personnel) in the place of 'Managing Director'.

This is in slight modification of the amended provisions as at 3/7/1996.
