Respected Friends,
The Association in Kolkata organised a Seminar on Mediclaim on 14.03.2018 and the officials of the TPA of East Zone and RM(OS),EZO were invited. Although RM(OS) could not attend the seminar due to his preoccupation he provided one write up prepared by LIC, Eastern Zone. We circulated the write-up among the members who attended. To our surprise, more than 65 members attended and actively participated in the discussion in spite of the inconvenience in the small Association room. We have prepared a report on the discussion there.
Although circumstances and experience will vary from one Zone to another and one TPA to another the basic principles and procedures are expected to remain the same. As such we are sending the Report along with the FAQ prepared by LIC,EZO with the hope that it may help some retired LIC employee anywhere in India.
However, we pray for Good Health for all the retired employees of LIC and their family members and wish that they don't have to make use of this knowledge.
