40% IR arrears as per SC order dt 31/3/2016 & Omissions,Discrepancies in FP calculations

1) This has reference to my talk yesterday

I informed that LIC in its Affidavit before SC stated , in response to  SC Bench orders dt 31/3/2016, whereby 40% IR was to be paid in 2 months time to ALL  pre 8/1997 pensioners numbering 17,963 All India & that they could make payment amounting to Rs29.35 cr to ONLY 15,922 ,leaving balance 2041 Pensioners.

So, it is necessary to find out these numbers who,or their Families are yet to get ARREARS from 1/8/1997 to 31/3/2016, date of SC order in SZ,Divisionwise  & to settle before it snowballs into a bigger Complaint from a grievance.Already 2 years are over & so there should not be any more delay.PLEASE EXPEDITE

I spoke to RM also few days back to devote attention

2)You recall Family pensioners in particular got 0,Single digit ,many 3 digits only, others 4 digits ,yet a miserly 40% arrears.This needs thorough checking.

As per rules, even FP must get 40% IR  ,at the rate of arrears from 1/8/97 till Date of Death of Regular pensioner & Family Pension at present rates from next month after death of RP till 31/3/2016

You have to testcheck some cases to verify ACCURACY as also to ensure no damage done & full implications of SC order to flow without getting impeded.

3)I give some details of our friend pensioners with a request to VERIFY the amount paid & present impartial correct calculations  to ensure we protect FP, the weakest link in the chain of pensioners .

In fact, you must have periodical Sessions arranged at intervals to educate them on ALL maaters affecting them,supply needed Forms, ask about Mediclaim progress, pension credit, care of title, Mobile Nos, email id ,address etc

Few cases of so low 40% Arrears for FP, please see if anywhere there is error & so to rectify not to ignore,

6)Were you & we not happy when you in SZ took up the Campaign year before of Dogged fup to secure TITLE,Mobile No, Email ids of all pensioners ?.It was a great SUCCESS,only email ids gaps are there as Pensioners do not furnish their siblings local id perhaps
