When I wanted to seek some information on matters affecting pensioners, I tried Sri S.S.Nadkarni ,Chief OS. It was ringing but for long, none picked up.
So, I tried Sri R.K. Sood, ED EOS,got him on the line.After my introduction,I enquired whether New 2018-19 Group MediClaim Policy details are announced,
including Premium rates & I emphasised that in all our Notes & Suggestions so practical,after analysing past imperfections in Scheme, rejections of claims or
deductions of big amounts as Non-medical, sizeable as it is, Pensioners in particular are adversely affected,as we dont enjoy Domiciliary etc,control has to be exercised to verify how such amounts figure.ED EOS told me that normally CO PIR Dept only conducts talks,negotiations, fup etc.
I told him that last month I spoke to him on this & other matters.
HE TOLD ME ED PIR Shri Sharad Shrivastava is not well, hospitalised.
I felt sorry.I enquired if I should contact Chief PIR,He said he may not be fully aware,so better Secretary ERI. I decided to pursue tomorrow.
I also wanted to know re IR payment as per DHC Court Orders, other OS matters re Statistics of Pensioners so difficult to get from LIC CO, some references made to CO PIR re payment of 40 % IR, where wife predeceased RP & issues of title to be resolved
ED EOS said he knows me,he added he is from 12 Batch of DRs.He requested me to send email ,mentioning the problems & he will address those issues & reply
