Dear Sri Niraj Agarwal,
FOR KIND ATTENTION OF ED Personnel
1)I attach my Email addressed to Sri RKSood,ED (E & OS) on the above subject
Some of the issues may pertain to Personnel Dept,CO
2)I request you to help & assist we aged pensioners to get the data & statistics from CO to have an All India perspective. We are not able to get the figures of All India Pensioners data ,even from RMOS Conferences conducted All India.
SZ figures come so quick & similarly other Zones also would have conveyed mere Figures of Numbers of RP,FP,Child Pensioner,s Exgratia retirees.More so last many years after RBI dictat NEFT etc became compulsory for ALL payments, even for Pensioners data flow would have been faster.
3)40% IR as per SC Order dt 31/3/2016 to all pre-8/1997 pensioners finds a gap of about 2041 pensioners whose fate has to be decided,as more than 2 years are over. They are eligible as pointed out in my email to ED E/OS & any requirements have to be communicated to them without any further delay
Omissions of these names & PFNo/SR No must be listed Zonewise & informed to RMOS,all Zones to initiate action, amount payable to be known, family or relatives must be contacted by email & personal talks ,they will feel elated & above all it is the duty of all of us to lend support as Family Pensioners are not aware of the happenings & so Office has a primary responsibility to shoulder
40 % IR must be calculated & informed to the family. As CO IT help for programme was secured then, it will be an easy matter now & so pending work can be hastened .Some of them would have secured Heirship Certificate already.Above all, was it not LIC duty to ensure Nomination with Alternate Nominee is registered to avoid later complications.
In fact in our periodical discussions with RMOS here in SZ, they took abiding interest year before & an intensive Followup with such open items,on 3 matters, Nomination, Mobile Nos, Email id,focussed thrust was given. That was appreciated by pensioners & more, qualitative strategy always yield good results so satisfactory.
4)Please go through our observations on FlexiFloater Mediclaim Policy conditions received this evening. We would have been happy if some restrictive conditions re roomrent paid higher resulting in proportionate reduction in benefits could have been removed,as such cases will be rare .Heavy nonmedical expense exclusions affecting poor pensioners with meagre pension ,Moreso when pensioners are deprived of Domiciliary benefits & Preventive Health checkups, such reduction in claim amount is a loss to them.
We dont understand how repudiation of claims occurs & so we suggest constant education, feedback & meeting of TPAs ,RMOS,Pensioners grievances & information sharing sessions to resolve complaints.
5)We wish & pray Sri Sharad Shrivatsava ED Personnel has recovered & regaining good health
Greetings & warm regards,
