I attach a chart with my conclusions on wage inflation in LIC for the various cadres based on the salaries for the various cadres from 1/8/1987 to 1/8/2012 as per the various wage revisions in LIC.
It will be very clear therefrom how pensioners have suffered cumulatively on account of non-upgradation of pension even though the LIC Pension Rules 1995 have been patterned on the CCS Pension Rules 1972 and despite clear provisions in Rule 56 of our Pension Rules.
