It is a shocking piece of news.

What  is the significance of the date 29/1/2007 ? Was it the date on which Class I Federation filed the WP at DHC or the date of filing  WP No 654/2007 by MR Asthana?

LIC has issued instructions to implement Delhi HC judgement dated27.4.2017 and advised accordingly to all  ZMs vide circular letter under reference ER/A/Pension/ Implementation  dated 18.08.2018.

 DR Arrears to be calculated from 29.01.2007 for eligible pensioners  and is to be paid along with 8% interest calculated from 27. 042017.Payment is to be made before 8.09.2018. Detailed circular will be issued shortly.
