PENSIONERS' VOICE & SOUND TRACK Editor: R K Sahni ] AIIPA LETTER CHAIRMAN

Dear Asthana,

What have you done? Before moving contempt application, you should have consulted other petitioners or circulated your intention to move such an application to know the reaction of majority of pensioners. Our all along stand has been that nothing should be done at this stage that may cause delay in the hearing of main petition, because this mischievous implementation of DHC judgement by LIC would have been taken care of by final judgement in the main petition and in any case this interim relief is subject to final judgement in main petition. Your move will drag the main petition to the back ground and by that time Justice Lokur would retire and the main case will then be listed before a new Bench some time next year. Your move amounts to falling into the trap of L I C. Please do not mind in my opinion, your move is not in the over all interest of we all pensioners.
