CLAIM PATIENT S R AGARWAL MDI 4825775 LIC RETIREE S R 207257

Sri Rajesh,

It is almost one month. On my phone you told me that it has been referred to NIA. After 10th April you or your office did not inform me. After 2nd also you did not inform me. NIA does not take so much time. From the level of an official of the rank of AGM some sensitivity is required. Silence on your part and your office for a month is not the answer. If NIA is not responding should you not talk to some responsible person in NIA and keep me informed. Mediclaim policy is a beneficial scheme but not only mine but other retiree's experience has been that approach in your office has been how to deny a benefit or deduct the amount and then not to explain or respond to the retiree's. I do not know where is Ms Sonu Mahato, Asstt Manager, Operations, who was immediately responding while even on leave and herself talking on phone and you being much senior to her and having a much responsible position keeps mum and on the contrary most responsible and expedious response is expected from you;, please ponder on the way of your functioning.
I have quoted clear policy provision about your unauthorised deduction, still you need approval of NIA and decision is not taken for almost a month. This is the way MD India is giving service to us. I think some drastic overhauling is needed in your office.
