Madam/Dear Sir,

CHANGE IN SALARY AND PENSION PAYMENT DATE FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL,2020.
SALARY PAYMENT DATE: 28.04.2020 &
PENSION PAYMENT DATE: 29.04.2020

Government of India has introduced new Finance Bill, 2020 where in several tax amendments have been made with regard to individual taxpayers. The proposed changes are applicable from current financial year i.e. from 01.04.2020. Accordingly, the Bank is required to make appropriate changes in HRMS with regard to tax deduction on Salary and Pension, which needs updation of new version patches.

2. In view of the above, the competent authority has approved the change in Salary and Pension dates for the month of April, 2020 to 28th and 29th April, 2020 respectively.

3. Please arrange to bring the contents of the Circular to the notice of all concerned.
